SOUTH BEND BREWING CO.

SOUTH BEND, IN (1895 – 1950)

A group of local tavern owners joined forces to establish this brewery at 1636 Lincolnway West in South Bend, Indiana. 

Hoosier Beer was always their strongest brand.  They even survived prohibition by producing Hoosier Brand cream soda.  This brewery closed in 1950 but the building still stands – and is on The National Register of Historical Places.

The design featured on this shirt was inspired by an antique wooden beer bottle crate.
