MARSHFIELD BREWING CO.
MARSHFIELD, WI (1893 – 1967)
In its early days Marshfield, Wisconsin was a rough frontier-town full of lumberjacks. No wonder they named a beer after Paul Bunyan - the famous Northwoods lumberjack. Legend has it that he and his crew drank wagon-loads of beer with every meal!
The Marshfield Brewing Company dates back to 1893 (established as "M. Bourgeois"). It closed in 1967 as The J. Figi Brewing Company.
This design was inspired by an early 1950's beer can.
