This design was inspired by a 1930's matchbook cover. John Good named his Tivoli Brewing Company after the world famous Tivoli Gardens amusement park in Denmark. Mr. Good liked to point out that Tivoli spelled backwards read "I lov it".
The Tivoli-Union Brewing Company was established in 1864 and closed in 1969. |
